Bacchus is a desperate Phantom Warrior. Saddled with the quest to find a biologically compatible female species for his people, he stows away on a ship bound for planet Earth. There he discovers a world teeming with women, but how does he pick just one? Sex sounds easy enough or it would be, if Bacchus weren’t from the Blood Clan. Where on Earth can he find a woman who doesn’t freak out at the sight of blood and three-inch fangs?

Dog breeder Carrie Rittner has had a rough year. Between a broken engagement, threats to her safety, and an emotionally distant brother, she’s ready to throw in the towel. The last thing she needs is a sexy ‘bodyguard’ trying to charm her pants off.

It’ll take more than Bacchus’ chemically charged pheromones, dominant nature, and forked tongue to convince Carrie that they’re made for each other. He will have to release all his animal instincts, before giving her the ultimate love bite.

***REVIEWS
The first book in the Phantom Warriors series, Bacchus grabs your attention on page one with some sizzling sex that's sure to burn the sheets, it's so hot. Ms. Summers quickly whisks you away to planet Zaron, to earth, then back to Zaron once again without you realizing you've left the couch. This is an enjoyable story that promises to be the first in a series of Phantom men finding their mates on planet earth. Bacchus's strong domineering nature is offset by his deep feelings for Carrie; while Carrie's past pain makes her a perfect candidate for Bacchus' tender touch. Their sex is arousing, explosive and sure to send anyone to their knees. The story's pace is quick from beginning to end without a sag in sight, which kept me easily engrossed in Bacchus and Carrie's world. I eagerly await any follow up books from Ms. Summers to come. --Just Erotic Romance Reviews

Ssssss!!!!!! I'm still trying to settle down so I can give an intelligent review of this sssensational story of a shifter with the forked tongue and a domination complex. How easy would life be if men knew exactly what women wanted and ensured they received it even when they weren’t being honest with themselves? In this new series by Jordan Summers, she introduces us to another alien clan that looks to be hotter than her Atlantean race of people. Bacchus is a male with extraordinary powers who is unafraid to use them when it comes to getting what he wants, which happens to be Carrie. Carrie is a woman who has allowed her animalistic side to be hidden and she’s in dire need of a strong male to bring it forward. This book is sweltering and just what you need to get the blood flowing and tingling. --Falling Angel Reviews

Phantom Warriors 1 Bacchus Jordan Summers

The series opener features Bacchus, a Phantom Warrior shifter from a dying planet where males outnumber females by 30:1. He stows away on a transport headed to Earth in hopes human females are compatible to his species and that he can find his mate within three days.

Carrie, a herpatologist, is still reeling from the betrayal and death of her ex-fiance, who left her with a large debt to a very unsavory character. She doesn't want to bring anyone into the potentially lethal situation. But Bacchus knows from reading her brother that she is in danger. And he will do whatever it takes to find her and keep her safe. Then he can go back to finding his mate.

This is a very engaging story/novelette that captures the imagination and leaves the reader reaching for more. Book Two, Saber-Tooth, is available in the Sensational Six anthology and is equally good. They are a great start to a promising series.

Phantom Warriors 1 Bacchus Jordan Summers Reviews

This book was okay i was excited to read it after reading the Atlantean series, however, I don't like the fact that the book is extremely short and it has almost an entire chapter from the book Atlantean Heat in it which i really didn't care for, most of the book is over before you really get into Bacchus's and Carrie's story. I'm kind of on the fence weather I want to read the other books or not. But its an ok quick read but it could have been so much better. It seems like Ms. Summer's was kind of rushing through this story.
This book introduces the Phantom Warriors to this series and I thought the author did a pretty good job with it seeing how it was so short. It could have used more meat to it but it was a continuation of Atlantean Heat. The characters were refreshing from the same old and what better mate then someone who loves reptiles. I think it takes a certain kind of reader to appreciate this kind of read and I guess I fit that bill. I look forward to more.
This was an enjoyable book. The characters were believable and interesting the story seemed all most predictable but then it started to have twists and turns that made it more interesting. It was a good book.
First huh? The entire book I felt like I missed a book somewhere. Other people were referred to that I had no idea who they were and on top of that the descriptions of what everyone looked like was unclear. Oh and a man with a forked tongue that resembles a snake...eww. I read one of the later books in this series and it was really good. This was super bad and all the books are really short and expensive. this book had a weak plot line and had me rolling my eyes a lot.
While this start to the phantom warriors is very short it is an ok read. The emotions felt real. Their lov'in steamy. It has a beginning, middle, and end. Just not lots of middle. Could use more....Just more of everything, as we don't know much, only basics. Unsure if I will continue. Depends on ratings along with page number and price. I refuse to pay more than 99¢ for a book under 100 pages and I don't really call those books. They are novellas, which I rarely read unless a prequel story.
I read the entire series of Jordan Summers Phantom Warrior. I enjoyed all but did find they were quite short. Her Atlantean series is also a nice read. I finished that entire series in less than a week. Now with that series I found the stories were almost novella. Very short and then she would start in on the first chapters of the next in the series. This I found disappointing. But all in all they were entertaining. She is not a Laurann Dohner or J.R. Ward. My favorite series is BDB (Black Dagger Brotherhood) and a very close 2nd is New Species by Laurann Dohner.
It was more of a novella than a novel and it was free, wasn't expecting much. To my surprise I actually enjoyed it but only because the premise and plot were so ludicrous, it was funny. There were few editing issues and the writing did flow reasonably well. It read more like a send up of the paranormal/ shifter/ vampire/ alien novels with all the cliche plot lines thrown into one story although I suspect the author didn't intend it to be a send up. Bacchus is a shifter/vampire/alien ( and just for good measure get the Dr Who fans interested by giving him two hearts) lusty being who's race has few women. Poor love has to wait months to scratch that particular itch, not enough women to find a mate and the paid women whom our author benevolently calls pleasurers are so booked up. Of course he has to be an honorable, handsome, buff warrior how else is he going to save and impress, in just three days, his poor mistreated earthling female soul mate. I could go on, but well you get the idea. Oh and have to chuck in a sex scene or two for readers who want a bit of hot loving. It couldn't be taken seriously, I found myself laughing throughout the novel. If it's free or a dollar get it, its a quick read and good for a laugh but I wouldn't pay more.
